Hoop Dreams: A winter garden update

The plastic vale has be lifted. Here is a picture of my garden after a winter covered with plastic hoops. The large plants in this picture (Kale, Arugula, carrots, beets, collards) were over winter items. I think they are edible and some are harvestable today, but I want to let they grow a little bigger.

The pleasant surprise, and purpose for the winter hoop experiment was the small, but hopeful starts. There are carrots, tatsoi, white russian kale, collards, salad mix, and radishes in this hoop

I will open the second hoop tomorrow. There was small tare in the fabric, and I notice the peas, and garlic.

The 80 degree temp today will not hold, I am sure.
