Last One Eating Blog: One Year Anniversary

One year ago today, I decided to get my Blog On and create this food blog. The idea was to talk about the local food scene in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to provide recipes, and event listings, to talk about food culture and food activism, and to provide the occasional restaurant review.

And I am still going strong. It has been a fun year. I met a bunch of other local food bloggers, foodies, and local food advocates.

A lot has happened this year.

I started Inchworm Microgreens Farm, and Inchworm Bakery

I taught a bunch of cooking classes at Hollanders (NYC Pizza, Biscuits, Vegan Baking)

I got really into Local Food

Had a lot of great meals in the home and out (Recipes, and Reviews)

Became a Vendor at the Westside Farmers Market

Started the Ann Arbor Sugar Beet Project

Lead a one man Boycott of BP of Gas Stations

and got a little obsessed with fun Plush Food Toys

Thanks to everyone who took the time to check my blog this year, and who took the time to comment. There will be more good stuff to come in year two. If you like this blog, please add it to your blogRoll, tweets, and tell your friends.

Thanks

  1. Congrats, Brian! It’s been a pleasure reading you (and growing some sugar beets :))

  2. My beets are still doing fine. Lets hope the woodchucks do not find them.

  3. Nice work hitting the one year mark! I enjoyed checking out your blog. I’m also an A2 food blogger 🙂

  4. Brian – wow!! what a year 🙂 Congrats on all you have accomplished and the fun you are having, too. Regrettably, I have almost no time to blog or read blogs since becoming a full-time farmer, but I love what you are doing and talking to you at the markets! Keep up the great work. 🙂
